Booking and membership terms

Float In Space is a fully unstaffed centre. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms.

General terms

Your own responsibility & age limit
Our centre is completely unstaffed, so every visit is at your own risk. You must be at least 18 years old to book and use our facilities.
No unauthorised guests
Your booking and your personal door code are yours alone. Letting in anyone who doesn't have their own booking is strictly prohibited.
Your time
Your booked time includes showering and getting changed. Please leave within your booked time, as the next guest may be arriving right after you.
Cleaning up after yourself
After your session, please squeegee the floor and start the cleaning pump as described in the room, so everything is ready for the next guest.
Your safety
The doors lock automatically when closed, but can always be opened from the inside without a code — you can never be locked in.
Before your visit
You can't float if you've recently had a treatment that may run, such as fresh hair dye or a spray tan, as it can damage the water.
Your health
By booking, you confirm that you are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and that you don't have a contagious skin condition, open wounds or any other condition that makes floating or sauna unsuitable (for example certain stages of pregnancy, or epilepsy). If you're unsure, please get in touch before booking.
Your belongings
Space is not responsible for theft, loss or damage to your personal belongings during your visit. Please don't leave valuables visible or unattended.
Contamination & sanitation
If the water is contaminated during your session, Space reserves the right to charge a sanitation fee. If the tank has to be emptied and refilled, a fee of 10,000 kr applies to cover the cost of new salt.
Damage & liability
Damage to the tank or other property is handled under the business's insurance terms. If damage is caused by not following the instructions, you may be liable for the applicable excess.
If something goes wrong
If your code doesn't work, a door gets stuck or anything else technical acts up, contact us straight away at info@floatinspace.se. We never charge for visits missed because of a technical fault on our side.
Temporary closure
Space reserves the right to close the centre temporarily, fully or partly, for maintenance, service or renovation. Planned closures are announced in good time by email or text message to affected bookings.
Valuables
Users and guests bring all valuables at their own risk. Float In Space accepts no responsibility for forgotten items, theft of or damage to users' and guests' property or valuables.
Force majeure
Space is not liable for interruptions or cancelled visits caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as water or fire damage to the facility, strikes, natural disasters or decisions by the authorities.

Cancellations

Rebooking
You can cancel or rebook free of charge up to 12 hours before your booked time. It's easy to do yourself under My pages in the booking system.
Late cancellation
If you cancel or rebook less than 12 hours before your booked time, or don't show up without cancelling, Space reserves the right to charge the full price of the booked service.

Membership terms

General
These terms apply in addition to the general terms above — including the same rules on personal responsibility, age limit and conduct in our unstaffed centre. Your membership is personal and can't be shared, lent or transferred to anyone else, just like your door code.
Payment & notice period
Payment is made monthly in advance by card. There is no lock-in period — you can cancel whenever you like. The notice period is a rolling 3 months: your membership continues, and is charged, for the 3 months after you cancel, whenever you choose to end it.
Your membership
Launch and Orbit include a fixed number of floating and/or infrared sauna sessions per month depending on your level. Beyond and Solar Sauna give unlimited access to the chosen service instead. Whatever your level, you can have at most two active bookings at a time — enough to plan ahead or add an extra session the same day, without any single member filling the calendar far into the future. Unused sessions (Launch, Orbit) expire at the end of the month and don't roll over.
Cancellations & late cancellations
The same rules apply as for regular bookings: free rebooking up to 12 hours before your session. A late-cancelled or missed session counts as used.
Right of withdrawal
If you sign up for a membership remotely (for example on our website), you have the right to withdraw within 14 days under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59). The right of withdrawal may end early if you explicitly asked for the membership to start immediately and then used a session during the withdrawal period.
Changes to memberships
Space reserves the right to adjust the price or content of, or discontinue, individual membership levels at any time — for example due to a changed offering, price increases or a change of business direction. Significant changes that affect you are announced at least 30 days in advance by email or text message. If a change makes your membership significantly worse (for example your level is discontinued or the number of sessions is reduced), you may cancel with immediate effect, without serving the regular notice period. Continuing to pay after a change has taken effect means you accept the new terms.
Cancelling
You can easily cancel your membership under My pages.
Termination by us
Space reserves the right to immediately block your door code and terminate your membership without refund if you: break the booking terms, for example by letting unauthorised people in; behave in a way that endangers other guests' safety or comfort; film, photograph or otherwise violate other guests' privacy on the premises; repeatedly cause damage, contamination or extra cleaning by not following the instructions; or fail to pay an outstanding fee despite a reminder. For less serious breaches, a written warning is normally given before termination. For serious breaches (such as a safety risk or criminal act), termination may take effect immediately.
Missed payments
If a payment doesn't go through, you won't be able to make new bookings until the outstanding amount has been paid.
Refund if we end early
Should Space end a membership programme early or close the business, the unused part of your advance payment will be refunded.

Best wishes,
The SPACE team
