“You just are. A complete reset, with nothing around you. And it is fantastic.”

“The sensory deprivation chamber has been the most important tool that I've ever used for developing my mind, for thinking, for evolving.”

“Float therapy – once dismissed as a psychedelic thrill for LSD poppers – has emerged as a potential treatment for stress-based mental conditions.”

“As soon as I land, I go to a flotation tank. It's like a sensory-deprivation tank with salted water and it's all in the dark. That resets my body clock so I don't really get jet lag.”

“When I get in the tank, I lean back, try to take a couple of deep breaths, ground myself and commence the floating. Then it's just me and my thoughts for an hour, playing Russian roulette of the mind.”

“You float like a cork. And it’s pitch black and there’s no sound. It was the most relaxing thing ever.”
