Increased immune system
Temporarily and deliberately raising your body temperature is good for your immune system.
There are plenty of studies that show that regular sauna use increases the production of white blood cells, which helps the body to fight virus attacks.
Saunas also reduces oxidative stress, which is linked to cardiovascular disease, cancer and degenerative diseases such as dementia.
Much of the research that exists today is done on traditional saunas, but the advantage of an infrared sauna is that thanks to the low temperature you can have longer sessions and thus potentially increase the benefits.
