Unlike a traditional sauna that heats the air around you, an infrared sauna uses an infrared light that your body absorbs more easily, which causes you to sweat in a different, deeper way. This mild yet profound way of sweating help balance your body temperature, relaxes your muscles and strengthens the skin. Research also shows that you sweat out 6-7 times more toxins compared to a normal sauna, the infrared rays have an incredible detoxifying effect.
A regular sauna is also significantly hotter, often around 90-95 °C, while our IR sauna is set to 65 °C. Thanks to the mild temperature, you can stay in the pleasant, soothing heat for longer and therefor increase the health effects!
